Yusuf Shah (11) from Leeds has the highest possible score for a boy his age on an IQ test. He was among the top one percent of the participants.
JTFMax Education:
He's only 11 and has already bagged Einstein and Hawking!
Yusuf Shah from Leeds achieved 162 points in the so-called Mensa test to determine the intelligence quotient - the Genius level! For comparison, Albert Einstein and Stephen Hawking had an estimated IQ of around 160.

"The boy told the Yorkshire Evening Post: Everyone at school thinks I'm brilliant, and I've always wanted to know if I'm in the top 2 percent of test takers". Yusuf almost screwed up the test: he was told he had to answer 15 questions in three minutes during one part of the test. But Yusuf understood 13 minutes. So he took his time answering the questions. In the end, Yusuf didn't just do well - he was in the top one percent, receiving the highest possible score.
Yusuf's father, Irfan, told Leeds Live that his son was good at math from an early age. Irfan Shah: "Even in kindergarten, we noticed that he mastered the alphabet and other things faster than other children." Even Yusuf's teachers were there enthusiastic about every report card and said that they had nothing to teach Yusuf. The student had a great talent for solving Sudoku puzzles and managed Rubik's Rubik's Cube without outside help.
In 2019 - when Yusuf was just seven years old - he discovered a mathematical phenomenon now known in the family as "Yusuf's square rule." Papa Irfan contacted a mathematics professor at Cambridge University who found an explanation for this phenomenon.
Now Yusuf is in the 6th grade. The father hopes his son will be admitted to a specialized private school. He says: "He loves mathematics. If you ask him what he wants to do in the future, he says, 'I want to do the math.'"
Just recently, Yusuf expressed another idea: "You never know, I could even become prime minister."
